On Monday night, June 18th, crews will begin milling and paving Main Street (Five Points to First Avenue). Work will begin at 9 PM each night and end at 6 AM the following morning. All work will be performed at night; Main Street will be completely closed to vehicles during this time.
Vehicles will be able to travel Main Street during the hours of 6AM until 9 PM. The project is expected to be completed at 6 AM on Saturday, June 22nd, weather permitting.
On-street parking spaces will not be temporarily striped; though on-street parking is still available during the day. Visitors to Main Street are encouraged to park in either the Fourth Avenue or Second Avenue Parking Garages. For more information, call (615) 791-3217.
